At Antara, we hold a quiet, radical hope: to reimagine how knowledge is created, and to
shift the power that shapes it.
Rooted in our journeys through philanthropy, academia, and social impact, we seek to build a space to support social change actors who are navigating complexity with courage. Through deep inquiry, rigorous analysis, and thoughtful action, we are in pursuit of futures that are more just, regenerative, and brimming with possibility.
‘Antara’ is a word with many meanings and resonances: in music, antara evokes songs for the transition; in phonetics, it refers to the pause between a high note and a murmur; and in mathematics, it can mean proof — what remains when the superfluous is removed.
